Crispy Tofu with Ponzu Dressing

Serves 4

Ingredients

Cupboard

3-4 tbs • Corn Flour
1 tsp • Soysauce
2 tbs • White sugar
Seaweed (optional)

Fresh
1 • Firm Tofu
1 • Lemon
1 • Spring Onion


Prep

  1. Drain tofu and also compress slightly, using the base of a frying pan to squeeze out any remaining fluid

  2. Cut into 4 pieces 

  3. Coat with corn flour

Method

  1. Shallow fry with vegetable oil (I use olive oil) until golden brown

  2. Served with sauce around tofu and garnish with seaweed

Tips

If you want it to be extra crispy, put it in the oven in 180C for 15-20 mins, after frying.
