Japanese Beansprouts Salad

Serves 2-3

Ingredients

Cupboard

3 tsps • Sesame Oil
a pinch • Sesame Seeds
Japanese 7 spice
3-4 tsps • Rice vinegar
3-4 tsps • Mirin
1-2 tsps • Soy Sauce

Fresh
2-3 • Spring Onions
1 bag (300g) • Beansprouts


Prep

  1. Chop spring onions into small pieces

Method

  1. Boil beansprouts for 3-4 mins (water needs to be bubbling hot)

  2. Drain off as much of the water as possible

  3. While it’s still steaming, put in spring onions and all seasoning except the sesame oil

  4. Put in fridge to cool down

  5. Before serving, add sesame oil and sesame seeds
